   After seeing the previews of this show there is no way, NO WAY I am going to watch this show. It looks like it is more about the judges and their stupid comments and actions then it is any person coming on there. Just a stupid stupid show.

   I Love the video, great humor, really creative….Simon surpassed himself (who knew it was possible). He should consider the James Bond role for a next project. Personally I didn’t want to send my 18y old daughter to audition after I read the contract posted on line. This is for really crazy desperates attention seekers ready to do anything.    @jack How does it look like that? They showed footage of both the judges and the contestants, but they wanted to be sure not to show too much of the contestants to make us watch. I think it’s a bit early to assume all of that just from a preview.

    I would just like to say that x factor and all the other talent related shows give people an opportunity for at least a chance of a better life for themselves and others they care about. As far as I’m concerned I praise all of them for giving people that opportunity. I’ve watched all except x factor because until this year I never heard of it. I do intend to watch it. Thank god for people who care about other people. This world is tolerable with this kind of people in it.

    As a former fan of the UK X Factor, I can assure those who are wondering that the show IS first and foremost about the judges. The only thing i still don’t get is why so many people buy into the whole ‘Simon = God’ rubbish! When he first started in these shows, he was just being brutally honest. Now, everything he says is just about creating a good TV show and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t really mean a lot of what he says anymore – the creation of a world-clas superstar is definitely an after-thought. Makes sense though really, seeing as a lot more money is made through the show itself rather than the record/tour sales of the winner.

    I think this show has a chance in the USA. We have more talented people here than in the UK. If we have a winner, the likes of the X-Factor UK’s Leona Lewis, Matt Cardle, and Runner up in 2009 Olly Murs, it will be well worth it. Check out these people on You-Tube. Plus, if they put out Charity Singles to help worthy causes then this US version will be worth it..
